Come fly with me

Hola!

We are planning to go to Come Fly With Me during our visit. Our holiday with Jet2 entitles us to a discount if we book the show and bus directly through Globo Balear. I really just want to know whether their service is reliable (particularly the pick-up from the resort), as we have in recent years used No Frills for any similar excursions.

Also, any thoughts on the show itself - is it worthwhile?

The show is excellent - especially if you like Frank Sinatra music. Fab quality selection of great music, dance and stunning acrobatics in great setting. No meal, just drinks and nibbles. I have been three times and loved every one of my visits. No idea about Jet 2 though as this is their first year operating as a holiday tour operator I believe. No reason to think they wont be reliable but check the prices - even with the discount No frills may be cheaper. No Frills runs the trip on Thursdays from Puerto Pollensa.

May well just stick with No Frills, just a bit apprehensive after a disappointing Son Amar trip with them last year (show fab, but seating was amongst the worst in the gold category I reckon!).

Oh I had exactly the same problem Mairi! Although the show looked great for those facing straight on, it was far from good for those of us at the sides, and the food not so great either.
Am dying to see Come Fly With Me, and am still going to see if I can find somewhere for us to eat before hand though.

Yes, Belladonna, isn't it frustrating - the quality of seating you are allocated is inevitably so totally hit-and-miss in these venues, regardless of how much you have paid. We have been to Son Amar three times over the years, each time within the same price bracket, but with a massive difference in the quality of seating and service each time; I expect this will also be true with Come Fly With Me...

Never mind, two weeks from now we'll be back in PP - after an awful time of late - so I really need to be more 'glass half full'!!

Sorry to hear that - but I'll see you that awful time, and raise it a few notches too, so I can imagin just how much you are wanting this break! We have to wait until September before things allow us to recharge!

Know I'm straying off the thread of Come Fly With Me but do just want to express just how soothing and healing a holiday in PP can be. To Belladonna, who has been having a hard time too, I wish you a wonderful break when you return in Spetember - there's just nowhere like the Port for recharging body and soul is there?!
