Just to put this all in perspective, just come back from town, and there are ladies with children in pushchairs pushing pieces of paper into peoples hands, probably eastern European, so this is a Europe wide problem not just in PP, ps live in south east uk

On a recent visit to Alcudia we walked past a couple of young ladies, near to the entrance of the church in the old town, who were selling flowers. Just glad that we walked on by, bit to close to home me thinks.

Note: Market day (Sunday) and quite a few people about, perhaps hoping to be disguised by the crowds!

I was accosted by flower sellers on the steps up to the cathedral in Palma whilst carrying a folded buggy, toddler and bag (don't ask me where OH had gone ) several years ago. When getting ready to return home a few days later I realised all my stirling cash had gone out of my purse. As I don't carry holiday money when away I guess the sellers took whatever they could from my purse. When reporting this to the Police they didn't want to know and I had to insist on getting a report so I could claim on my holiday insurance. This incident coupled with the reaction of the Police has meant we have never returned to Palma
