Does anyone know if a form is required when we return to the UK airport? I can find a link on the UK Government website which has an electronic version (like the one needed at Palma when we enter) but this can't be completed until 48hrs before return.

I'm sure they'll hand forms out on the flight if you haven't done the electronic one.

The locator form has to be filled in online 48hrs before returning to the U.K. I’m sure no airline is giving out forms on the airline as they do not exist - o ly online.

Yeah, you got it, use the link and it says either print it or show it on your phone. I've got a printer in the house and I'll be there 29th july to 12th august if thats any use

Car77, I came back with Ryanair on Monday and at no time did ryanair offer any forms. Luckily I had completed the form on line so could walk past the 30+ in front of me at East Midlands by showing security the UK Gov acceptance number so I bypassed the 30 who were given a form and told to complete before they were allowed through leaving another 70 odd people queing. Make sure you get it completed before leaving..

Just completed the form online - takes a little while - I have printed ours but does send an email with the code if no access to printer.

Just arrived home. Please remember to fill in the locator forms on returning to UK. We were one of the first off the plane with our completed forms and there was already a queue of half a dozen for the I pads to fill the forms out! I think some people think because we don’t have to quarantine you don’t have to fill them out. Several heated discussions going on - not what you need on a 06.55 flight from Palma - we were up at 4am!

Does this mean that you just have to show the code when you arrive back without queuing?

Yes - airport staff were asking who had/hadn’t filled out the form and then sending you straight to passport control or to fill in the form - where the long queue was. Yes can just show code on phone.

A friend came back through Gatwick last Sunday and wasn't even asked for a form??? So much for our UK world class tracing system. Palma airport very well organised when we passed through.
