my first time on here
has anybody stayed in these apts?
this will be first time actually staying in PP because we have always stayed in Club Pollentia so we are really looking forward to staying in the town
any info on these apts appreciated

crespi

Hi geordieboy. We have stayed in crespi appts many times(one stay for3 months) and have always been satisfied. The appts are spacious, very clean but a little basic on the kitchen equipment side. There are only 8 appts in total and you have a shared pool which is not huge but big enough. Situation is perfect for the beach, shops bars ect. We have always enjoyed our time there and have just retuned from a month in Crespi 6. If you want any further info send a private message. Cheers slipalong:)

thanks for the reply.
we are a family of 4, 2 kids 14 & 15 and travelling with my 75 year old mother in law...what have i done to deserve that!!!

is there any bakery within walking distance where we can get fresh rolls etc for breakfast
also any good restaurants around which also do kids menus but with good selection for us adults?

we are staying in1 of the ground floor units so we can have access to a balcony at ground level

i guess you will know the immediate area having spent so much time there so any help you can give us would be appreciated

crespi

hi geordiboy, you are just opposite a small shop that opens around 7.30am. They have a bakery that bakes fresh baguettes every morning. Further down the road to your right is a mini market called voramar but watch the prices. We found it best to shop at the branches of eroski certainly best value but you really need a car to visit the main shop (although for 5 euros they will deliver). Most bars & resaurants locally cater for kids and we found with our 4 yr old granson they were all only too pleased to help. If yo want any directions ect send a private message only too pleased to help....Slipalong:)

i guess there is no internet availabiliy at the Crespi? is there?
not sure if your into computors but do you know where the nearest place to get WI-FI?

apologies if your not technophobes!

Hey

How on earth do you get 14 and 15 year olds to eat kids meals ......... sounds like a great way of saving on the food bill

Fraid we've been stitched up for full blown adult portions of whatever takes daughters fancy since age of 10 or 11

Seriously, if your children have small appetites , there are lots of places that will serve half portions of their normal menu rather than the typical kiddie meal fare of nuggets and chips, burger, basic spag bol etc

Forgot to add , JK's closest for internet ....... but definitely a sports bar type atmosphere and often people smoking in there

If you want something quieter and more comfy, buy a drink at the Hotel Daina and sit on their sofas in the bar to access wifi

wi fi

Hi Geordieboy, closest wi fi is turn left out of the gate at crespi, 100 yds down on right is the pines restaurant. Rob and Brian are two nice guys who for the price of a coffee will give you the password. Worth adding they do really good meals at very reasonable prices and cater for kids as well but have strange opening hours. We ate there a few times and can recommend the breakfast and burgers. Cheers Chris:)

hi there, would be interested to know how you compare a stay in PP instead of Club Pollentia - we did the same this year, after 7 happy years @ CP...maybe post when you get back?

no problem mate i will give you a report when im back. we love club pollentia by the way but we alsp love going to different restaurants each night
