Shocking for all, sounds virtually like back to full lock down - lets hope this vaccine roll out is the game changer for everyone. Thinking of all in PP.
Provide or get advice on everything Puerto Pollensa, ask questions, gain confirmation or just become apart of a friendly, like minded community.
The latest restrictions from the Balearic Government are, as of Tuesday 12th all bars, restaurants, gyms, spas, large stores and shopping malls must close for 15 days.
The current restrictions are to stay in place until at least 13th February.
I think every country will be the same going forward till the summer at least. How do yous feel about the horrific lockdown imposed last year that seems to have had no effect apart from to delay things?
How is the vaccination process working Sparky?
The lockdown had a big effect in Mallorca but then when restrictions were lifted and travel was allowed it all went downhill.
Unfortunately the vaccination process is not as good as it could be because the Balearics are not getting the supplies it needs to move forward.
The slow vaccination in the EU is the main reason I doubt that any sort of normal tourist travel we be allowed before 2022 at the earliest, which is a very sad thought as we all miss PP so much.
According to the MDB the Balearic president thinks the season could start in June, here is the link to the article :- https://www.majorcadailybulletin.co...ooking-june-for-start-the-tourism-season.html.
At last some good news about Covid. According to the MDB there are 65,000 cyclists who wont be coming to the Playa de Muro area this spring.
