Day let hotel room/apartment-28th July 2012

We are travelling to Puerto Pollenca next month for the 4th time after having UK breaks for the last few years

In order for us to be able to afford to come this year we have pretty poor flight times.

We fly home on Sat 28th July around 11pm, our villa is to be vacated by 10am.

Do any of you in the resort/trade know of somewhere in the main town I could book for a day let (10am - 7pm)? We plan to spend the day on the beach, shower and then head to the airport. Taxis already booked with Zarza who we have used before.

It would be great if I could get this sorted before we arrive, cannot wait to come back

Thanks Sparky, will get in touch and find out where the facilities are. Have visited the British Food Store before.

I think it would be fine, but think hubby would rather have a hotel room/apartment for the day!

In the past we have let a room at Pollenca Park for the day, but would rather something more central and have it arranged before we come.

Thanks slipalong & lola for info on Marina appts, have sent you a message for contact info. They look lovely, but I would be VERY lucky if they were prepared to let out & then clean room after 7pm for a new arrival, who would have to be arriving late. Will give it a try though, wow those views

I think it is unlikely that any of the accom. will want to pre-book a room for just one day at a sensible price this far in advance. Althouigh I appreciate you want to organise it in advance I reckon that your best bet will be to ask a few days prior to the date when the hotels can see any ´gaps´that they wish to fill. Failing that somewhere like the Hostal Paris (about to re-open I think if not already done so) or Hostal Eolo. The shower facilites are another good option and more economical but it does not give you somewhere to have a lay down in air con room.

I "think" I have booked a room for the day at Eolo, will go in next week to check it is still ok, have not had confirmation yet, but did get few replies regarding prices etc, so fingers crossed.

If this doesn't work out will try Paris & Marina Appts.
