disabled access

Hi

We're visiting in the summer with my dad who is in a wheelchair. Does anyone know if there are any disabled toilets, either public toilets, or in any hotels near the beach? We're hoping to hire a scooter, but does anyone have any other advise?

Hi and welcome Hutty
The new toilets on the main beach have disabled toilets, not sure of the new ones in the park, the beach also has a board walk for access to the waters edge.

Wheelchair access

My Dad used to be in a wheelchair and he loved to be taken to the Illa D'Or Hotel so that we could sip sundowners on the terrace there.

There is parking nearby and a ramp (a bit of a steep one) into the hotel and then a short distance to the open air terrace area.

Sadly, I cannot recollect whether there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor there.
