Hi all!

Finally open! I have an ad going on the site very soon! Yes it's been very up and down. We have been open a few days and are very quiet at the moment. I am having a welcome drinks evening next Wednesday from 6-8pm and hope some of you can make it, it would be nice to see/meet you.

Take care

Max. X

Max, i wish you and your sister every success at Dos Hermanas , hope to see you very soon :D;).

Yes good luck in your new venture Max, look forward to popping in to see you next we are over, have a great season!!

Max. All the very best to you. This is a great location and a bar we know very well and like. We have used this for many years.

It was great to finally find Dos Hermanas! Max is just lovely and it was good to chat for a while and find out all the background. The ideas that Max has for the future are really interesting, so pop in when you can and support them! Good luck to the sisters and their good looking staff! :)

Best wishes for the future....

Mike and Sue

Good looking staff???? ...... well, see you Wednesday for the opening night then. hahahaha
All the good things in life are worth waiting for and I hope that after all your ups and downs and patience you can start to enjoy your new venture. I would like to pop along on Wednesday if I can. Good luck.

A lot of people had the same problem when it was Lulus, walked right past it probably.

A few pictures from google maps streetview:

The first photo is as you enter the square near the wide steps.
Look where the red line goes that I added on the light coloured paving stones.

The second photo is a bit closer in, look down the narrow street/alley way between the church and the cafe/bar with blue canopy.

Another google photo that I lightened quickly in photoshop so you can see down the narrow street.

It is on the right hand side near the end of that street where my red arrow ends.

Hope that helps :)

We will be there one day :)

Mark, always you have far too much time on your hands :-), great directions it's just after the jewellery shop on the right with the lovely cat outside, give him a stroke, you want miss it

thanks, will pop in this weekend, I will introduce myself, good luck with your venture,

Mark,I loved the google map street view.Hopefully all the doubters will have noticed that Cafe Espanyol has disappeared and has been replaced by Ca'n Moixet....something I have been wittering on about for a number of months.

We stopped by to hello to the lovely Maxine today at Dos Hermanas & enjoyed coffee & a gorgeous Orange Layer cake, she had just baked. Thanks Maxine!

Called in to see them on the day of the Patrona, they were selling drinks through the window like most of the places in the town, Max also kindly let us use the toilets as they are in short supply. Had a good look around, first time I have been inside its so quaint and original and with the fire will be great in the winter.
We were a bit squiffy by then and she kindly helped the wife fix her belt which had broke and before long they were comparing baby bellies and swapping childrens ages, a really nice lady, the sort of person you think you have known all your life on the first meet.
Anyway we went back the following Sunday after the market because we were at that stage of the holiday when you need a good English breakfast with tomato sauce so we went inside as it must have been 35c, Max's sister was there and was equally as lovely, we had real scrambled eggs with Heinz sauce with butter on the toast, why don't the Spanish do that. Their children were working in there as well and it was great to see, always been a dream of mine to have a place like that with the kids as well, so after the problems they had at the start we wish them all the luck in the future, I am sure they will make a great success of it, pop in and see them, you will get a wonderful welcome!
