EasyJet Text

I have had a couple of e mails from Easyjet plugging their Easyjet Text facility. Has anyone actually signed up for this yet, and if so, is it worth it? There seem to be a few different packages to sign up for, but I havent gone into it all yet, just wondered if anyone else has!!?

We had the misfortune of arriving at Stanstead to find that our flight to Palma had been cancelled I had not signed up for Easyjet text, but when I spoke to the people in front of me in the queue for the customer service desk they said they had signed up and did not receive text saying flight had been cancelled so certainly in this case not worth signing up for.

Thanks for the reply roman, I thought that would probably be the case so Im glad I didnt just go for it and then rely on info coming through!
