Sparky...how can you find out what they are putting on the menu del dia? .. .couldn't see on FB...do they put it on board outside.?if so what time?cheers BD

The board is usually outside by midday, i have suggested that they put it on their FB page.

As i have posted on the "Restaurants open in winter" thread the last evening will be next Monday 31st and they will then only be open for lunch until 13th November when they close until 1st February 2017.

Got to try El Posito at last! Although I love a wander up the back streets of the Port usually prefer to eat on the front or thereabouts but after one of our lovely walks to the illa D'or for mid morning refreshments (coffee/tea!) I had a plan! I suggested to Hubby that we should give this place, that I have read so much about, a try. Thought he would be against it and as I was struggling to remember exactly where it was from Illa D'or I was sure he would want to give up but my luck was in I found it! Forgetting it was a Sunday it was full inside of local families/friends but a nice table with shade outside was waiting for us and before we had sat down a bottle of red was plonked on the table, followed by 3 coarse meal with bread/olives, water and the wine 34 euros for 2. Great food, nice friendly staff and smashing atmosphere. Boy was I glad I found my bearings that day! To be experienced again for sure.

To my shame I have only been there once in all the years I have been coming to Pollensa but shall be rectifying that in 5 weeks time
