Fast ferry to menorca

Has anyone used the fast ferry from Alcudia to menorca? thinking of having a day out as it only takes an hour and would be somethingdifferent to do.

We also thought that this would be a good day trip last year but when we costed it the price was too much to justify, from memory, for 2 people it was going to cost something like 120€. If you are a resident of the Island you get a residents discount but unfortunately, tourists have to pay the full price.

I would be interested to see if you manage to do it and for how much.

I have just been on-line for information and Whaley is correct the return fare is €59.95 per person.
