Hi everyone
Never been to a meet up before. Will be in p.p. on the date (just) Don't know bony's - is it a place to eat as well as a drink, or is everyone going on somewhere to eat afterwards? Do we just turn up, if its a drink and meet ?

Bony's is definitely a drinks only place. And with the size of the G&T's, one's enough to get me dancing on the tables. Perhaps we should all meet at 7:00 as suggested, then go our separate ways afterwards to eat (for those that need it to soak up the alcohol!) If anyone's got any other suggestions, I'm sure we all open to offers!

For all those who are making their way out to PP during the next week or so, don't forget to pop to Bonys to say hello on Tuesday 12th. Its great to put faces to names, and of course we all know we have at least one thing in common!

Val, I don't think you'll miss us. I shall ask Jose to push some tables together. We'll all be recognisable to each other by the searching looks on our faces!

There are various items that can be bought with the sites logo on, but most of them are a bit "showy". Perhaps some kind of small badge CAN be made up as a type of lapel badge to make life a bit easier.
I often wonder if people I pass in PP and surroundings and in the queue at the airport are infact forum members! :eek

Sounds like we just need to look out for Sandy dancing on the table if she had managed to sneak in a g and t before we arrive . . . . I Agree Jose is very generous with his measures which makes it an even better choice!!
As I live here, Tuesday 13th sounds good to me - KEITH DARLING, please remind me as I always forget and you are here then which is great - have not made one yet as something always happens and it goes right out of my mind!!
Have not had time to even look at the site over last month let alone add any postings so glad I caught up with you all today.

Did the meeting take place yesterday?
We wandered over to Bony's last night around 7:30 and didn't see any evidence of a meeting. We went and got a table opposite the TexMex and didn't leave til 11 ish. Was anyone else there?
Maybe I just don't recognise enough faces!!!!

Where was everyone ?? Senor Cigar and I met and had a lovely chat but where was everyone else? I wandered up and down, asking if anyone was from the Forum, but there were no takers!

Very sorry ,i was coming that evening .Then my daughter and her boyfriend arrived in a hire car,she was staying in Cala D,Or.They drove us to Palma ,we had lunch then some drinks,then some more drinks ,then he was over the limit.Lots and lots of cafe solos later ,we get back 10pm to PP.NOT happy

Hubby and I were in the middle of our house move, but decided to shower and go to the meet-up. Didn't see anyone with forum T shirts or tables pushed together or anything. After a longish wait we went for a meal with the thought of coming back later to see if anything was going on, but by then we were so focused on our big move next morning.
Maybe name badges next time would be a good thing.?
