Forum Meet-Up - Tue 10th April

I'll be out in PP for a quick break over Easter, so I'll be turning up on Tuesday 10th April (before flying home that evening!) so it would be great to meet up with any residents/holidaymakers who are about.

So if you are about at Easter, do come along:

Hi all,

it's lovely here in PP although it may be cloudy tomorrow.

But I'll still be at the new Circulo Cultural from 11:30 am - on the corner of the square opposite what was the school & hopefully will be sitting outside, but if it's raining do look for us inside.

I'll be wearing my PP t-shirt, with PP calendars & leaflets on the table so do come along & say hello. Hope to see you there!

It was great to see so many of you today, a shame it rained and we had to sit inside but that's the nice thing about our new venue, there is plenty of room inside and out, plus free wifi .
Maxalan it was fantastic to meet you in the flesh at last and i hope you soon get things sorted, big hug .

Thanks, Lyn and Zelda (and Martin of course!) for the meet-up. What an improvement to the Cultural. And useful that the town hall's port delegate should have been at a nearby table. May I also offer Maxalan every best wish and a reminder that there are many around for support.

We did indeed and i was fortunate enough to meet up with the Whaley Wanderers again a little later in El Posito, i was shocked by how much they paid in toll road fees, it was twice as much as we paid in 2008 .

Will certainly give the the new venue a visit when over for a meet up, but still get drawn to the Marina Bar for the sea view whilst chatting!.

Thanks to everyone who made it yesterday - it's always great to meet up with forum members face-to-face! After all it's the members that make this forum. Such a shame the weather got a bit grotty but at least there's plenty of space inside & it will be even better once we can sit outside by the square.

I'm out again at the end of May so there should be another 'official' meet-up on 29th May but I'm sure there'll now be others on a Tuesday morning as more & more of you start coming out to visit.
