Gold car queues

Has anyone used the Goldcar express check in? It's 15 euros and allows you to 'jump' the main queue...I have always used Goldcar with no problems but got fed up with the long queues last year so this seemed a good option...I booked this when I came in May but there was no queue anyway! ..but hoping it comes in handy on a Sat in Aug when we come out next

Yes. Made a huge difference last week when we came in. I'd booked Express Check-In so was in and out in a few minutes.

Rest of the people in the (long) queue didn't seem too happy about it. But I guess they hate that epitome of middle class smug - 'Speedy-Boarding- too!

I can understand the "Speedy Boarding" situation......the plane doesn't take off any sooner, but you can ensure that a family can travel together. Goldcar is a bit different. Goodness knows what would happen if everyone paid it! They'd be pretty cheesed off (just like those now who haven't paid it now!).

I stopped using Goldcar, not just because of queues, but because of their lack of Full/Full fuel policy where the cost they charged for a tank of fuel was a complete rip-off if you do few miles, as we do.
