Google earth - Spooky

on google earth earlier, checking out villas for this year ( it's a fabulous tool for planning holidays)

looked like someone was in the pool of the one we have since booked for 2011

then spotted 'imagery date', & realised we were in PP May 28 2009, when the images were taken

looking at the villa we rented then, there were people in that pool too

on checking 'properties' of the pool pics we took during that holiday, we were indeed in the pool for many hours on the day of the fly over, so that's us!

Wife & daughter appear several times on our home 'street view', walking home from school, so now they're at PP too!

Well there's international fame for you! Shame you can't claim royalties for all the times you are viewed!

The pictures on GoogleEarth have been changed for much better quality ones since I last checked out Mallorca.

It's now a pleasure to get down close to ground level and do a "virtual" walk to Cala Boquer and Cala San V.

hours of fun ahead, wish we were there.....

SMG - my daughter is opening the gate on the google street view of our house. She was furious - we just thought it was funny!

another change to GE this week - street view 'bubbles' have disappeared, now you zoom down to ground level, & wander around anywhere, rather than having to flit from bubble to bubble

now all we need are 'sun' & 'cold beer' buttons....
