Guitar man

This is a real long shot but thought i may as well ask, i visited PP once in 2003 and again in 2005. On both visits whenever we took a stroll along pine walk there would be a man sitting down on a chair somewhere along the route playing a guitar and selling his CD's, i would describe it as very much slow paced mood music. At the time i guess i was too young to appreciate it but i'll soon be back in PP with my girlfriend in May and was just wondering if anyone knew if he was still around or not. I'm sorry but i have no idea what his name was or exactly where he would sit along the route.

Apologies, but cant remember his name either, but he was playing at the Daina hotel on our last visit, and he was fantastic.

Yeah,

Think it was the guy who played at Ca'n Josep a few times last summer. He packed the prom opposite whenever he played. The last night he played there he had just flown in from Germany where he had been playing on the radio .

If you really want to hear good, live Spanish guitar and singing go to La Roca at about 10pm on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. Juan and his brother Manolo are fantastic. Their other brothers run Bar Batucada.

He played for the first time this season in the Port on Saturday night (3rd April) at El Casinet. Only seating left outdoors and was a little cold but as good as ever

Pretty sure it was him then who was playing there this week. He had a very appreciative crowd round him, everyone smiling in their own little world that he creates with his music. Wonderful.
