Guru Restaurant

My husband Chris and his Mum and Dad wanted to just highlight what a lovely meal they had at Guru on Thursday night. They had plans to go someehere else but it was full so walked a little and came to Guru. We used to go there a lot when our daughter was younger and the head waiter became a good friend. Sadly he left and we haven't been back since. Not sure really as we always had good meals which were well priced and they were always very friendly. Generous shots at the end of the night were always a bonus !! Anyway, they went on Thursday and couldn't speak highly enough about the food and service. It's restaurant we don't often see get mentioned so let's try to support them in what must be a tricky time for many places considering the rental situation this year.

It is great to see a positive mention for Guru which is our neighbourhood restaurant. The owners - Elisangela and Ramon - work damn hard and their food is unfailing good. It must be so frustrating for them some evenings when they have virtually no customers but 50 yards away people are waiting for a table in restaurants with rather poor reviews. We are so fortunate to have them on our door step and now with the addition of Amazo on the other corner we are very well served.
