Headland Puerto pollensa

We are currently in Puerto Pollensa. Looking out to sea, on the left I am intrigued by the collection of handsome buildings on the headland between the lighthouse and the hangar for the sea-plane. Can anyone tell me what they are and who they belong to? I can't work out how you access the area, and what their function is.

This is the "La Fortaleza", the property dates back many years and has an intruiging history, I do not know whether you speak Spanish but there are books about the history of the old property, I do not think they have been printed in English although the property was purchased by an English businessman some 25 years ago who reformed the old buildings into what it is today, then some 5 years ago it was purchased by a British businessman who i understand is also the accountant for the conservative party.

I do speak Spanish, so I would be interested in further details. Is it simply a holiday residence? As an anti-Tory, I am horrified to learn that I can't get away from the Tories even for one week! Only joking ( more or less). But I am interested in the history of the place. Thanks for the reply.

If you do speak Spanish then have a look in Margas newspaper and book shop which is at the bottom of the Formentor road on the left just before you get to the Juan XX111 opposite the chinese restaurant. I bought a copy a few years ago and noticed one there while collecting the papers about three weeks ago so maybe you will be lucky, failing that ask Marga to get a copy for you. You may also be intersted ¿or not? that holidays were offered there at conservative party fund raiser or charity function in the U.K. quite recently so I guess that the winners would supporters.........
