Helados

We are returning to PP again in July after a three year gap and the kids (and their grandad!) are desparate to know whether the ice cream man is still plying his trade from his motorcycle along the sea front? The sound of him approaching with the cry "Helados" used to get them all running towards him.

Senor Valls , the man himself retired from doing the motor cycle at the end of 2004 but he still can be seen serving in the kiosk beside 1919 cafe, so at lesat you can still buy from him!

and what a perfect job it must be - everyone is always so pleased to see you . . . . . I rather fancied the idea myself and am so sorry that the little motor bike is not to be seen around town anymore - as you say he is often at the kiosk but it is not the same is it??
