Strange one this but does anyone know, that the english newspapers you buy in the port have the days horse racing in as i like a flutter whilst away and to sit on the beach with a drink and pick a winner or two is great. I know that the papers dont always have everything in as they would back at home.

Just had a quick look in yesterdays Daily Express and yes they have the full card for each meeting but apart from a computer, i'm not sure where you can place a bet ? !

I've never thought about it so it would be interesting if anyone else could advise.

If you want to have a flutter while you are there, call into Trotters and Roy can take the bets. There are other British bars that do it but Trotters is the only one i know. Hope this helps. Sparky

My boyfriend uses the computers in Hotel Daina (coin operated, by the side entrance) to read the racing post online and put a few bets on whilst i have a coffee outside!
