Come on, I am just trying to give information to people so they can get the best deal. Do you really only want to promote companys that advertise on this site rather than the cheapest offers.

There are quite a few companies that don't advertise on PP.com but get promoted here on the forum, after all we all like a bargain when we can get one.
I am sure Pollensa would let us know if it was a problem.

You need to read the post because for me they are much cheaper. Like I said for the same car (infact a bit better car than Holiday Autos) with Budget for three weeks in August is £100 cheaper than Holiday Autos (even if I waited until the 20% reduction on Saturday it's still cheaper by the way). That's why I have just booked & paid for it this evening.

Hi just joined If we cant find anyone to check the car for us when we take it we take photos of any damage on phone or camera as they have date and time on them in case there are any arguements afterwards We have used Holiday Autos a lot and normally Auriga Crown in Spain without any problems

Just checked the price for two weeks at the start of April and you can get a Corsa for about £104 with Full to Full (shown by the petrol pump symbol) but when you select for booking it mentions in the total box a possible £67 of add ons!!!
A few weeks ago I booked a similar car for less the £90 for 2 Weeks with Goldcar Europa via Skyscanner Cars!!
although that has gone up to the £120 to£130 now.

I have checked the prices all week on holiday autos & they are no cheaper today than any day last week. Really pleased I took the chance & booked up with budget a few days ago. It has saved me £100.

Had a look on the Holiday Autos site and it is a good price for us and even more attractive with the full full fuel policy -don't get my OH started on that one please 
. But I don't like having to pay up front now for car hire in September as last year we managed to get our rental much cheaper nearer the time although it was with Record and we queued for hours and won't go to them again no matter how cheap.
So basically do I bite the bullet and pay up tonight?

I don't think I would pay so far up front personally. I think it's a risk as anything could happen before September and i'm sure you would be in a fight to secure your money. That is just my opinion others may think otherwise. I just don't think I would pay so far ahead.

Knowing the Mallorca/Spain car rental situation over the past three years, I would suggest people pay up front & book as early as possible. Top tip believe me.

I would pay up front. If you pay by cc your money will be safe if hire company disappears etc. With interest rates so low there is no point in keeping it in the bank for a few months. The hire price will only go up. (wouldn't catch me near Record either, never seen it quiet)
