Just to inform you all that the Miramar is still selling pints of beer for 3euros each.This has been the price for about five years now.It surely must be the cheapest on the front.The only slight problem is that the waiting staff are getting older,slower and more grumpier but I forgive them because the situation is perfect for the bay, people-watching and,most of all,the cost of a pint.

...and they still serve them in 1960's style pint-pots, for that full "go back in time" effect!!

This is very good news, however does anyone know how much they charge for a glass of wine? Is beer the only bargain priced drink?!

Mrs.Stevo66 had a glass of wine.I can't remember the price but I would have done had it been excessive.

We stayed there for a couple of nights last year and remarked upon the cheapness of the drinks... a G&T was good value too. Me, I think the grumpiness of the waiters adds to their charm! I agree that this is one of the nicest locations for drinks in PP - better than the vastly overrated Cappuccinos and a fraction of the price.

And the set priced daily menu is only 22€ which is also excellent value as this includes a glass of wine and water. Booking essential.
