It isn't "live streaming", i think it only updates every 15mins or so.

Can I suggest that there is no rush to book accomdation for February this early if you want more options why not wait until September time when the couple of hotels will know whether they will be open. I think the Mar Calma would be a first choice, depends what dates in February the Hotel Illa D`or will be open also and they have a small SPA and nice bar. The resort is VERY quiet in February, Pollensa town has a little more life and if your dates fall over a Sunday then that would be a good choice as you can wander down to the local market which still has a great atmosphere in the winter. Carnival usually falls in February also so there may be a little more life if you are lucky enough to co.incide with those dates.
You will enjoy your stay but Puerto Pollensa is nothing like it is in September, but the truth is that many establishments will not know until much later whether they will be open or not. No where will be sold out so no rush!!!

Thanks for all this information folks. We are out in July so will look at a few options for hotels and as I said earlier we do have confirmation that we have availability to an apartment in Pinaret. I do realise that it may well be later on in the year before hotels make their decision whether or not to stay open. I think Mar Calma would probably be my first choice as well but we may also look at Palma, for perhaps one night and also to Pollensa town and Alcudia town as they are both so close to the port

Just a quick update on this post to say that I have emailed Hotel Mar Calma again and they have advised me that they will definitely NOT be open in February

I would stay in or around Palma as its Feb and only for 3 nights, but just my own personal choice.
