Can i add my congratulations and wish you good luck in your new home, do have a look in the charity shops, you will be surprised at the things they have and they will deliver large items.

I agree with Sparky. The charity shop is really good. We contacted them back in June as we has an Ikea sofa and chair which we no-longer needed. They arranged a time and day to collect and were right on time and no charge either! Excellent!

Well worth a look and of course a worthy cause to.

Also there is a wanted and for sale section on this forum which is very handy.

If Alex & Sarah post just once more they will have full access, they have done nothing wrong but the rules are the rules. However Pollensa reserves the right to withold any facility to any member at any time.

This is fair enough Sparky. I think we are all inundated with rubbish coming through the letter box or through our email systems. I'm sure most people would agree that we certainly don't want it on here as well!

I know i'm lacking in my basic skill knowledge regarding technology but what is a troll? I have an image of a little green person wearing a cap popping out of my computer. lol

LOL @ Eleanor, you would not believe the things spammers try to promote/sell on this site but the members don't get to see it because of our moderating policy. However trolls are a different matter, a troll is only interested in causing disruption to a forum or chat room and will go to extreme lengths to achieve this, these people are more difficult to spot because they are often very charming to start with.

Certainly the moderating policy is safeguarding us from this then so can only be a good thing. Haven't some people sad lives if all they want to do is cause disruption - strange world!

Every new member has to have at 2 'approved' posts before having access to full facilities. Am afraid we had to implement this due to the large number of spammers that we get. So Alex & Sarah, please do post again. I'm sure that you must have some queries or comments that you woud like to make elsewhere on the forum & then you'll be able to use the PM facility - as it sounds as if there are several generous members who'll be able to help you out.

Thanks for the charity shop tip. We hope to complete on 9th November and will come out on 8th staying in Pollensa at Miguel apartments. Although I notice how quickly rooms go even at that time of year. Not sure how to use pm facility once past moderation.Must read the instruction not lose the thread!
