I was wanting to find out from the expats, who live in PP, or have property there, how well was it to integrate with the mallorquins.
Was it easy, did it take time, or was there any difficulties encountered. My wife speaks Spanish and I am at the beginners stage.

If you want a bar that is frequented by the British and Mallorcians then go to Max's cafe. You will inevitably get talking to the locals.

Thanks Steevo, so there was no problem you found in being welcomed into the community, as it were ?

Ronnie we have just started our 4th year of living here full time and have never felt it necessary to buy the "locals" friendship ;). Just seek out the back street bars, don't be pushy but take an interest in them, speak as much of the lingo as you can, it doesn't have to be perfect, they appreciate the fact that you have tried and will put you right if you get it wrong. Remember above all, a smile is an international language and goes a long way to breaking down any barriers:).
