Seems early to be thinking of next summer, but just had e mail from jet2 flights on sale now

I have just booked our flights for next May with Jet 2 - what a shock
Including over £30 for booking fee and credit card fee - the total cost for 2 was over £463. This is over £200 more than I paid about a year ago. I checked out all the alternatives, such as Monarch etc from other airports, but this would have meant an overnight hotel stay etc and so, even though the flights were cheaper, it would still have cost us more
I did think about leaving it longer before booking in the hope that the cost will go down but as I have booked our accommodation, I didnt want to risk forgetting all about the flights
Of ocurse, there were no loyalty seats available - never are when I want to book
But guess we'll get over it - just feel like they are taking the proverbial sometimes - all this blather about cheap flights and loads of (expensive) luggage allowance ......................

I'm with you Rosie ! Jet 2 are taking the **** over their so called extras which are really essentials. Doing some checks on dates later this year when we might be able to travel I found that Leeds flying with Jet2 is no longer a cheap option.
