I have just been reading a back edition of Talk of the North and seen that this restaurant has opened up on the Formentor Road does anyone know if this is where Gogglers (and then Baxters) use to be.

Does anyone know what happened to Wayne from Gogglers?

Hi joanne, JK's is more of a pub than a restaurant althhough i think they do do snacks. It is just across and along from Tangos going towards Formentor (not as far along as Baxters). It was a great place to watch the world cup with two big screens and numerous TV's showing the action.

Jks used to be the Cavern. The old Googlers is much further along (away from the Port) & became Baxters but am not sure if that is still open either.

HELLO !!!!!
in may... Baxters was up and running again, not sure who is managing it but i think it's still Wayne's (now ex) wife.... Gossip Removed Now (even tho we had no time to drop in) it's open again.!!
JK'S is a nice bar to go watch a match in. and have a drink or two out of the sunshine for half hour... but (for anyone who's used and loved the cavern in the past) it's not got the same atmos !! (but thats just my opinion... Try it !!)
