I have just heard from John and he said at the moment it's Thursdays and soon Tuesdays at the Hideaway plus Saturdays at Max's.

yes saw that, 3 per week, if 'soon is 'now' ( almost a Smiths song)

Have seen John play many times over the years and always have a great night well worth going along to one of his gigs!

John will be doing a gig with sax/flute legend Cacho Petrello at Max's bar tonight .

Live music is a bit thin on the ground in winter but John is still playing on Thursday nights at the Hideaway from 9pm .

Saw John some years ago at Mulligans and was impressed

Tried to see him again at the Hideaway this Tuesday ..... Horrible night weather wise, paid for a taxi to take us , got there just after 8:30 - closed

So didn't get to see John despite abposterboutsodemadvertising him every Tuesday and Thursday

I do wish places would not advertise and the be closed

Melinda got in touch with me and they were just late opening!! Ah well, not a total waste of the an evening as we all enjoyed the live music at Nossies instead didnt we! Drove past The Hideaway late last night and it was open and buzzing - typical!

Tuesday & Thursday plus alternate Saturdays at The Hideaway Music-Bar.

Sundays at Panorama Beach hotel (Opposite Pollenca Park Hotel).

The rest of the week at various gigs around the Island.

It is just along the road from the Rosa Blanca which is opposite the habitat apartments.

I`m trying to work out my route on foot .
Along the front from the harbour. As far as the Romantic Hotel.
Turn onto Bot, then Cadernera , and hopefully this will get me there.
I can see a small roundabout marked. Is it past that ?
Will I find it easily ?
I don`t want to get lost and miss it.

Wilcoxon where are you staying. You may find it easier to walk up the main road Juan XX111 until you get tothe roundabout at the habitat/Rosa Blanca. Take the service road in front of the Rosa Blanca follow it around to the left ,passed the back of the rosa Blanca and the Hideaway is on the next corner. Enjoy.

Got a taxi there last month and if I remember right, it is in Calle Voltor...think I spelt that right! Think you are in for a good night.....enjoy.

I found the Rosa Blanca on Google maps, it does seem rather out of town. I am staying at Ora Playa. ( unfortunately from what I have read !! )
Maybe the Panorama would be a better bet, or a taxi to Hideaway perhaps.
I don`t mind walking at all, but don`t want to get lost somewhere I don`t know my way around.

From the Ora Player, your best option is to walk straight up the main road. You could walk along the path to the side of the dual carriageway until you get to eroski and then turn right towards the Rosa Blanca. It is very straight forward and not that far really.
