LAS GOLONDRINAS in the GOMMAR AREA of PEURTO POLLENSA

Anyone stayed here? If so what did you think?

Love Majorca but never been to Peurto Pollensa area. Like to know as much about the Gommar area as possible. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE MY MIND UP!!!!

We went to PP for the first time last year and stayed in Gommar, Los Geranios Apartments.

We absolutley loved PP, and cant wait to return. We hired a car, so drove to the beach everyday. If we hadnt had the car I think we would have struggled with the distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. But.. our children are only 2 and 4, so that would have meant buggies etc to beach.

The spar supermarket around the corner was handy but pricey!! The area was lovely and quiet, and we sat out on the balcony everynight and the view was lovely.

When we go back we will definetly stay nearer to the centre of PP, certainly until the children are older.

Thanks for replying. It sounds lovely. My boys are 17 and 13 so should be quite capable of walking that distance although I know they will probably moan now and then as teenagers do!!!

Hi Chalkfamily
The apts arnt that far really, prob about a 20 min walk to the centre, but there is a bus stop right outside the apt which run every 30 mins
But they are great apts

Las Golondrinas on Google Maps

Looking on Google maps to try and find the 'Las Golondrinas' apartments but nothing comes up i need to know the name of road they are on anyone help? My sons have been trying to find them on the google map.Juliexx

Julie - the apartments are in the area bounded by the MA2200 (main road to old town), Calle de Voltar, Calle del Pinsa and Calle de Verderol. oogle maps co-ordinates come up as 39.901605, 3.067825 but when you type it into the search it takes you down to the south of the island
