Linea Verde
You may have seen the Linea Verde posters
around town but did you know that this
service is a way of communicating directly
with the council? Residents can report any
incident or damage in their neighbourhood
through the web and mobile app. Within the
council, the Linea Verde system provides a
powerful intranet through which officers can
track the status and resolution of reports.
First download the Linea Verde app on your
mobile. When you come across something
you would like to report open the app
and select the type of incident (the system
automatically detects the location), then take
a picture, include an optional comment and
the council is notified. The most common
categories of incidents are litter, street
cleaning, problems with benches, signage,
rodents and pigeons. You no longer have to
walk past overflowing bins, or graffiti feeling
powerless, instead you can report it to the
council and keep an eye on its progress as the
council deal with the problem.
