Bar Bon Dia, in Calle Bot, has Pete MacDonna playing on Friday 17th at 9:30pm. Don't know if this is a regular spot.
You can also catch him at Mulligans on Saturdays about 9, footy permitting!!

Hi Teacu

I haven’t managed to find out if he is contracted for the season but Denis said he has played at the Flora for the past few weeks and he hoped to be there in September when I am next going there.

The Flora usually has entertainment about twice a week, possibly a bit more in July and August. Some are really good acts, some not as good. There is an animation lady doing a kids club in the afternoon at present but not many kids here to participate.

There is often entertainment at the Puerto Azul over the road which you could probably enjoy for the price of a drink.

Many thanks for going to the trouble of checking that out, and for the info. We are booked to stay at the Flora (for the first time) in June, so we shall see. Will also pop into Puerto Azul to see what they have offer..

Teacu I am sure you will enjoy The Flora. We have been coming here off and on since 1988! Extremely friendly and helpful staff and everything is kept nice and clean. Bathrooms have rainwater showers and frequent change of towels. The Director told me today that Denis will hopefully be here until the end of the season. Have a great holiday!

Thanks again, Marilyn. One last question - For reasons too long to explain here (but mainly because we're travelling with my brother in law and his wife) we've booked half board at The Flora. I would guess that like many visitors to PP you eat out of an evening, but out if interest do you know what the evening meals are like at The Flora ?

From next Monday, there will be live music at Laguna pool bar & Restaurant in the evenings with Guillermo Segui and Derek Holt.

There will be a special lunch at the Corb Mari restaurant on 1st June 2019 with live music from 1pm. The special lunchtime menu is just 30 euros, & you can have an aperitive, starters, chicken or hamburger, dessert, wine & coffee & live music! Don't forget to book on 971 867 040.

On Saturday afternoons, The Hustlers will be rocking at La Roca beach bar from about 4pm. Food and drinks are also served there.

The Hustlers then do an evening set at Hostal Borras from around 9pm on Saturdays.

On Sunday afternoons, 'DJ One Man Rocks will be spinning cool tunes from 5pm at Embat beach Bar.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We don’t stay on the half board basis but have eaten the set meal many times. This comprises a choice of three starters,three mains and three or four deserts. It is quite varied eg starters I have had included soup, melon with ham, asparagus with bacon, salad. Mains bbq ribs, spaghetti bolognese, chicken with pepper sauce, various fish dishes. Portion sizes are good.

We have stayed on bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast offers a good choice of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, tea and coffees, toast different breads, jams and about 7 or 8 hot items. You can eat as much or as little as you like.
