Is this a new beach bar or simply Embat being rebranded? It is being bandied about on facebook but their website only mentions Embat.

Hopefully it is an addition near the Guardia Civil. Can't have too many beach bars IMO.

Embat is still branded as Embat and I haven't noticed any new structures/bars on the beach.

I've just driven past the Guardia. There is a bar looking hut next to the WCs and I cannot remember if it was there before. I hadn't noticed it being put up and I drive along there a couple of times a day.

Just checked it out, its the white building, I think its new, don't think it was there last year, next to the playground on the beach, that will be a bit of competition to the cafe opposite, A Talaia!

Hi Sparky, its not as far down as that, if you come back along past Sea.bar.is you will see it opposite the road to the Guardia

Well done, you are correct. The link you provided was taken Nov 18. I was out at the turn of the year and didn't notice it.

New chiringuito chiringuito in the port of pollensa in front of Joan Cerdà Square. Cocktails, burgers, ensaldas,... and the best atmosphere. Soon we open!

The building was there last year but never opened by anyone. It is as has been said opposite the Prodis café and the childrens playground.

I am confused. I have just driven past and it is firmly shut but they were delivering wood (presumably for decking) on Friday.

In what respect? It re-opened a couple of weeks ago and so far hasn't been shut down by the music police!

Thanks, just that I heard it was reopening but no date. With other bars opening on the beach between Marina and La Roca the music police will tire before they get that far, I hope.

Yes Grup Embat will have two on the beach, one more of a snack hut, Embat more a bar with music, La Cantina on the harbour and Bar Esportiu at the sports centre, catching up with Vila Cuisines!
