Hubby and i had a very long leisurely lunch in L'Olivera yesterday. The twins are doing a lot of tapas now and we decided to give it a try. The average price is €5 for a half ration (don't be fooled into thinking this is a small portion, beleive me it's not) anyway we had a selection between us. Albondigas, croquetas, russian salad, whitebait, pica pica (cuttlefish in spicy sauce) bread and olives, washed down with a couple of glasses of vino blanco each and despite our best efforts a doggy bag was required, there was no way we were going to waste such good food.
We sat at the front of the terrace and it was so relaxing just watching the world go by, the "Puppy in the Mountain" was very clear and i swear he winked at me ;).
Anyway i thoroughly recommend a tapas lunch here it was :p.

Nice one, Belladonna. That's exactly what I was thinking!

We've been to Olivera's a few times but we gave it a miss last year. Will definitely give it another go this year.

39 days to go!!

Sparky - being a good girl and continuing that little saga (that word just keeps popping up doesn't it?) in the TB!;)

Toni & Dani said they had taken on the tapas as Miguel had given up Can Picoteo...we sampled a few in April...try the "meat in sauce"...wonderful
