memorable day

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this subject but here goes! Does any one have a day of their holiday which they remember as really special?It may be the people you met or a meal you had.
Last september we were staying in csv at the simar hotel. We had a "tip off" that Trotters bar was showing the last day of the ashes.
We arrived at approx. 11.30 am and left at 7.pm !! lunch and afternoon tea was taken there! the atmosphere was wonderful cheering echoed along the street.
When we left we had T shirts that said:: Trotters bar where the ashes were won sept. 2005..
these days make a good holiday

am memorable day

Yes, I had a memorable last day in June this year. Hubby and I were leaving that night on the late flight to Newcastle and because we wanted to extract as much pleasure from our last day as we could, hubby said lets get in the boat and go round the corner to the little bay that we haven't explored as yet.

There was no wind, so we just motored and found there was just one other yacht there, (it was around 6pm by now) we had a swim and snorkle and it was beautiful.

We decided that we must put it on our list of places for lunch, a very quiet and peaseful bay. How lucky are we ??
