On Tuesday we decided to visit Porto Colom again and on the way we stopped off at Petra to see if we could do a spot of wine-tasting.

We eventually found the Bodega and although the opening times said 10am until 2pm, there didn't seem to be any proper shop or office, just a warehouse. We wandered about a bit more (the town was deserted) and then went back and I asked (and mimed) if we could taste some wine.

The woman I spoke to wasn't that helpful but pressed a button and a huge door opened on the other side of the narrow street. We couldn't taste, she said, just buy.

We bought two bottles of the Ses Ferritges at about 8 euros and their Aia at 12 euros.

I will report in due course, but we enjoyed the Mont Ferrutx at La Fortalesa so I've got high hopes!
