Yes Lorenzo, i posted about Elvis in the entertainment section. We will pop in on Sunday to see him, i must say it is great to have him back and i think the new owners have plans to get more entertainers. It's got to be good for the Port .

Mulligans

Just thought I would say that last Friday I had the pleasure of a drink or two in Mulligans and really enjoyed excellent TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC from a lovely man, accompanied by his wife, whose name I cannot recall now.
Great variety of songs, music and musical instruments which he plays so well.
Nice to see something traditional, Irish music in an Irish pub. and even an Irish guy serving behind the bar. Whatever next!
Maybe we will have spanish bars serving sangria and flamenco next!! hahahaha

Always amuses us irish Pubs in various countries Very little irish about them apart from ther name and they serve Guinness !!

We have spent a lot of holidays in ireland and found the Irish are the best barmen Places we have had been to only needed a nod of the head and our next drinks would be done and this would be in very busy bars ! Have just been in Lanzarote and found irish run all irish staff bar and great service and friendliness as well

We will have to see if we can catch up with the act you mention We like a bit of music lined up every night !

I have moved the last 2 posts into this thread so we can keep all the info together .

As you will see Jan and Copper an Irish entertainer called Brendan was booked for every other Friday. I am not sure if this is the same one you saw Jan or if they have another one .

Popped into Mulligans last week for the England v Ireland match. Great to see the place open again. Friendly, welcoming service (even for an Englishman!) - and good prices as well.

Very best of luck to the new owners. Hope things go well for you. We'll be back in August.
