New short stay parking at PMI

Collected daughter from Palma airport yesterday evening. Found a new section of parking specifically set up for people collecting arriving passengers. Easy-peasy to find - keep right on the run in to the multi story/carhire car parks and follow the 'Parking Express' signs.

The car park is immediately adjacent to the far left hand end of the arrivals hall as you exit from the baggage collection area.

At €2 for 45mins, represented good value taking regard to the convenience of not having to go up and down the multi story and the long walk in (and back) to the terminal.

Thanks for this info Clinkham, i think this must be where the local pre-booked taxis park when they are waiting for their fares to arrive. The guy we always used would wait for us in the cafe/bar at that end and he was quite happy for us to have a quick cana before we left for PP .

Could well be, Sparky. Though on the exit route back to the motorway (but not on the entry route,which was quite direct) there were a number of quite large lay-bys with a number of taxis lurking. Probably tuned in to the arrivals info, and only entering the official parking when customers had landed.
We wil certainly use this in future.
P.s don't tell anyone about this - don't want it to be toooooo popular. There are only limited spaces.

But you get 30mins free in the multi storey and then its really cheap, often only charged 5 centimos if we have gone over.

Agree with you Lollipop. Was down that the airport last Friday and Saturday picking up members of the family and used the multistorey both times. For a stay of approx an hour or so, it was 65 and 70cents each visit, a bargain
