L'Ajuntament debatrà al Ple de Juliol una inversió de 2,1 milions d'euros per millorar la primera línia del Port de Pollença
Després de les obres de la "semipeatonalització" executades aquest passat hivern, el ple debatrà una proposta d'inversió de 2,1milions d'euros per executar una segona fase de millores.
Aquest segon projecte ve a dotar a la primera línia de les mancances que encara té.
D'aquesta manera el nou projecte preveu l'adoquinat d'una part important del passeig (de Rotonda Enginyer Roca a Avinguda París) fet que permetrà fer una autèntica peatonalització d'aquest tram, tancant-lo al trànsit el les franges horàries que s'estimi convenient per tal que sigui completament peatonal.
El nou projecte també preveu que el carril bici es pugi de nivell, separant-lo del trànsit rodat a les zones asfaltades.
Altres elements que preveu el projecte són la creació de més zones de vegetació, la rehabilitació del muret de la platja, la col·locació de nou mobiliari urbà o la remodelació de la placeta de Ports, al començament del passeig.
Amb aquestes intervencions es pretén que el passeig assoleixi el nivell de qualitat desitjable per la primera línia.
En el plec de condicions es posaran determinacions que garantitzin la solvència de l'empresa constructora per evitar situacions com les creades aquest passat hivern, així com un termini d'execució per tal que s'executin entre el mes de novembre i Pasqua.
El projecte ja s'ha debatut amb els partits de la oposició i les associacions turístiques i de veïns del Port de Pollença i en les properes setmanes es mostrarà al públic en general.
