ORO PLAYA Appartments

I'm due to visit the above appartments for a week's stay in August 2006. Whilst reading reveiws of the appartments from late last year most people stated they are a little tired and in need of a facelift, I was just wondering if anybody knows if they might have received a lick of paint in the close season, or if anybody has been recently if they could advise if they are ok or still a bit of a dump.

Hi. We were there Sept last year and yes they could do with an update, sorry don't know if that has happened. They were still clean, tidy and very friendly. So if you dont expect too much you will be very pleased with them. They have air-con and everything you need and are really not too bad overall.

We were in PP last month and while we didnt stay at the Ora Playa this time we did drop in one evening. It hasnt changed much as far as I could see. It could do with a lick of paint but I think it is still fine . As eirelav said , dont expect too much. It is in a great location with a lovely pinewalk beach across the road. Friendly staff etc.
I would certainly stay there again if they had 2 bed apartments.

stayed here in july for one week. apts are basic but clean with air conditioning. position is the great bonus with the pine walk and beach within 100metres.

Hi Mat,Im staying here from the 2nd of Sep.It was the location that made us book.Did you have a problem getting sun beds by the pool.As i dont see myself getting
up at 6am to bag one!!

did not try to get sunbeds by pool as you would need to be up early to book them! why waste time when there is a small but excellent beach close by in front of bar katie. if you go there early at 10am or so it is close to paradise!
