I arrived back home from the Ora Playa this morning. It was OK, mattresses were new looking and clean, but the bed sheets really needed replacing, even though they were clean and changed every 3 days, some were very threadbare.
Towels were clean and good, and changed every 2 days.
Kettle, toaster, microwave with grill , and fridge were very clean, fridge even had an ice cube tray.
Bed Settee looked new , but was cream leather effect, I had to wipe it over every day because of sand and sun lotion. In the end I put beach towels over it.
Table and chairs didn`t match - but - who cares !
The bathroom was clean, but rather shabby .
Water was HOT , in fact the longer the shower ran the HOTTER is became.
Outside, the pool area was fine, lounge settees were leather and rather worn, but they were really comfy.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, but communications between Thomsons and the hotel were useless. I had to chase the rep who doesn`t visit the Ora just to find out the departure time. She was blaming the Ora, but the receptionist showed me all the details he had for other clients, and there was definitely nothing for us.
The outside of the closed supermarket looked awful, and the outside of the utility area rooms were not much better. They could easily have the blackout papers replaced, and it would improve it greatly.
