The strong winds overnight had blow over the large plant pots outside Cappucino/ Sis pins.
Such a shame as all the pots where broken and they looked so good yesterday.

Dogs chasing ducks in the Sea ( and getting told off by their owner)

I really miss our Labrador puppy this week so I notice all dogs, I need to stroke and cuddle a dog...dog owners will know what I mean.

Thank you for posting the photos-after a full on day at work these are a real tonic. I know it's probably not as warm as it looks but the gritter went past me on the way home tonight so it's got to be warmer than that:)

Such a beautiful, sunny, peaceful morning especially on the Pine Walk. The whole place looks so serene and perhaps a bit unreal to me as I have never been out during the winter months before:( This has definitely got to be in my plans soon to change that;) What I can't understand though is the photograph with the plant pots. The plant pots have fallen but the umbrellas and chairs don't seem to have moved at all:confused:

There was a sunbather this morning on the beach in front of Can Josep, I best not post a picture.....

--------

Today has been beautiful and warm with some wind.

We went to Pollensa town this afternoon and that was even warmer as more sheltered with less wind.

The car display showed 29 degrees as it had been parked in the hot sun, soon cooled to 20 degrees when driving.

This is winter which is why not many people are here.....

That's it for today, will see what tomorrow brings.

Beautiful shot of the Llenaire jetty Mark..Thanks

Hi Mark, I'm sure your dog would love a walk on that amazing beach, maybe one day eh? Shame the refuge don't let you borrow a dog for a day.

Great photos Mark. It all looks so quiet, even though i was there only 3 weeks ago.

I really am enjoying my 'virtual' week in out of season PP - thanks to your pics:)

Nice pictures Mark. I particularly liked the ones of the Pollensa town festival. These town events are well worth seeking out if you're over on the island out of season. The Baroness and I went to the one in Sa Poabla a few years back and had a fantastic day out. All the streets shut off to traffic and all sorts of weird and unexpected stuff going on - from fairground rides to livestock shows, and just about everything in between! Always remember the house that was opened up to the street and an elderly lady making and cooking the most wonderful doughnuts in an enormous 'wok' looking pan, whilst what we assumed were her granddaughters were scooping them out, bagging them up for sale. and sprinkling them with sugar.... Starting to feel hungry just thinking about it!

Like you, I recall thinking that your local Health & Safety bod would have a coronary about some of the stuff that was going on!

The Pollensa town Fira was fantastic, worth visiting in November just for that and I will visit to see that again another year.

So much going on, I did not photograph much of it as mainly locals with children so not really appropriate to photo. Feels like intruding on the locals 'special' time now they have the island back from the tourists.
Tourists must have been outnumbered at least 1000 to 1 at the Fira which was great :)

The health and safety was interesting for sure :), especially the stalls with air rifles and children shooting with them  Dont look, just walk away !!

Also lots of stalls making food and frying stuff, the smells where fantastic.

I absolutely loved all of it.

Totally agree, they certainly know how not to overdo the "Elf and Safety" and long may it continue, if they allowed the "nanny state" to have it's way i fear many of the fiestas would cease to exist .

Mark, am just loving your photos so thankyou for posting. Have never visited out of season but i am just totally enthralled to see the difference. Now makes me even more determined to visit in November, will try for next year although coming in August so depends on spondoolees!!!!!

I am still here but the days go so fast I ran out of time most nights to upload any photos,

I will update with lots of pictures when I am home.

Going to start packing my case now as the last night is nearly over :(

I look forward to seeing the rest of your photos Mark, have a safe journey home tomorrow :).
