I think the photo on the home page is great, its PP as it should be, calm sea and an air of peacefulness!, and I'm the biased CSV lover!!!!!

You're entitled to your opinion Bee but personally I think its just a tree with a bit of water under it.It could be anywhere.

Hi Peter,

I don't think that it's because we're not interested - I think it's because old pictures of the Port are hard to find and upload to the web.

Have you tried googling old pictures?

there is already a separate forum on photos where photos including old ones may be discussed - see Pollensa Photos - Pollensa Forum without resorting to rudeness & abusing other members.

I run the main website single-handedly and the layout only allows for one photo. This is a commercial website which obtains its income from advertisers who promote holidays to the current Puerto Pollensa. I therefore think it's appropriate for the main photo to promote the current resort and it is why the majority of people visit. I realise that the current photo is rather old and therefore if I have time I may run a competition for members to submit their photos.

dont missunderstand me i think the picture is great but would lie to see pictures of pp maybe on onother thread under history maybe not the last few hundred years but the last 30 must be loads of memorys there

Can anybody suggest a current view of the port that wouldn't have any building work going on ?
