Hi, we are coming to Pollensa again in 4 weeks time, which will be our 8th visit in a row, with 3 children 5,9, and 11. I was wondering if anyone could let me know where there is a good Pizza restaurant. (Which my 5 year old thinks is one of his '5 a day') Not looking for something really expensive, usually spend most of the time BBQ ing , but try and eat out a few times. but in all the years we have been coming we havent located one. We stay in a villa near Pollensa town, so either Pollensa or in the Port would be great. Hope someone can help, and then I can kep the kids quiet when we arrive.

Hi Dunk,

In Pollenca you can go to Can Olesa which does a great pizza, that is in the main square. In the port you have Little Italy on Pine Walk which I never eaten in as it is always busy so we can never get a table - so I guess it must be good.

I'm off on Saturday for our 10th visit I'll have a look out for some Pizza places and let you know.

Cheers

Andrew

Laroc, around the corner from Little Italy is good. Whilst in Pollensa there is Trencadora. Just put the names in the 'search' on here to get loads of 'reports' from other contributors.

Hi Dunk,

You could try Laguna, up behind the Illa d'Or hotel. Really good pizzas (about 7-8 euros each, plus a good range of other stuff. If you eat early (before 7pm) or in the afternoon, the kids can play in the pool while you wait.

Defo Can'olesa...I would actually go as far as its the best pizza ive ever had:D

Bella Roma next to the big Eroski, great pizza and pasta.

You can't beat Little Italy for me, great view, tremendous pizza, I highly recommend the Espagna, chorizo and egg!

Booking definitely advised though, especially for a table outside, can be very busy at times, and I have even tried to book a table for later that day, only to be told they are full already!

The Hamiltons.

Try Manduccas in the square. Its got a real good choice and are lovley. Reasonabley priced too.

Try the Paris pizza in Manduccas. Yummy. But lots to choose from.

IMO Little Italy or Tolos in the port and Ca'n Olesa ot Trencadora in Pollensa...all do great pizzas :)

Hi everyone, thanks very much for all the help, you've given me lots of choice, looking forward to getting out their in 25 sleeps and the kids can eat pizza until it comes out of their ears!!

Would definitely recommend Scacco Matto - it's in the square just off the main road in Pollensa. They also do great pasta and a lunchtime buffet for 12 euros at weekends or 10.25 euros during the week - all you can eat, and I guarantee you will come away full to bursting point!
It includes a drink and coffee too. You can't have pizza as part of that deal though.

They do takeaway pizzas too. Trencadora is also very good and fantastic value, with a beautiful garden terrace. Both places have a proper wood-fired pizza oven, which makes such a difference.

Pizza! Now we're talking. As a pizza expert myself i would go to either Little Italy (fantastic location and great pizzas, tho i would recomend booking it) or Manducas in the square (just great pizzas) If you pushed me to go for just one, then it has to be Little Italy. It would be perfect for the kids as the beach is 2 yards away! So you can have another nice glass of Rioja whilst keeping an eye on the kids playing on the beach, result!

Ca'n Olesa always gets the vote for 1st meal of the holiday! Just such a great feeling sitting outside in the main square on the first night of your holiday watching the world go by - and the pizzas are pretty good, too!!
Although we'd passed it several times over the years we only ate at Trencadora last year for the 1st time. Superb pizzas in a beautiful garden setting. Went back a few nights later, and it was just as good. It's not in the main square, but it is easy to find. If you're standing in the square, facing the bar, Ca'n Moixet, turn right and walk down this road (Carrer de Colon) for 70m. Cross over the road into Carrer de Ramon Llul, and Trencadora is about 20m on your left. It has an ornamental waterfall at it's entrance - so, if you get lost, just listen out for the water! These two I can certainly recommend

Manduca gets my vote but never had a bad pizza at El Castinet... How better to sit right on the fornt, listening to the music from the Diana, people watching and drinking a glass of Cava :)

Had a pizza last night myself in Il Angelo, same street as Tots and Hells Kitchen, Mrs Cincent had the duck and ham salad. Our eldest had a pizza, he is 7 and our youngest had some of his also. Have to say no complaints here, was tasty on all accounts, prompt friendly service and not too expensive.
