Police Incident . What went on ??

I think it may have been Thursday evening, we had gone to try out the Dragon Chinese Place next to the bank.( not bad either!) Police arrived to the place next door, (bank?) bundled someone into the car and drove off, then two ambulances with stretchers came and were there for quite a while. No one could find out what was going on.
Does any one know ? Not the sort of thing you would expect in PP I`m sure.

Back home now after a nearly 4 hrs delay. Saturday morning, the incoming flight could`nt land at Palma because of a storm, so landed at Minorca, till it was safe . Those poor people sat in the plane on the runway at Mahon , while we were shunted to 5 different gates before we finally took off. No information at all about when we were actually going to board from Thomsons. Not very impressed with them at all.

Wilcoxon, the incident you refer to was an old Mallorquin lady (mother of a friend of mine) who suffered a brain tumor and was rushed to hospital and unfortunately died the following morning, I know nothing of someone being bundled into a car but it certainly was not the old lady.

Oh how very sad, it was someone else in the restaurant who told diners that the police had taken a person away in a car, and as we were sitting at the back we could only see ambulance and medics.

It did look rather dramatic at the time, but obviously an emergency that needed attending to quickly. Such a shame the outcome was not good.
