I have just received this email from the organisers informing me that the 2014 Wine Fair is going to be in May .

I read this in the MDB here :- Majorca Daily Bulletin, i do hope there will be enough wines to try in May .

Poor wine harvest blamed on the weather

Majorca.—This could be one of the toughest wine harvest seasons to date in Majorca, after the manager of the wine Designation of Origin department of Binissalem, Marga Amat confirmed yesterday that the recent weather is making the work in the vineyards "extremely hard".

The low temperatures registered in the Spring and early weeks of Summer alongside the recent heavy rains are, according to Amat, turning this year into one to forget.

What a shame that they have put this excellent event back to May. Pollensa needed something in April to bring in the visitors.

I certainly hope it's the first weekend in May, as I've booked flights and accommodation! And it'll be warmer than April!

Saturday - 10am til 8.30pm

Sunday - 10am til 2pm
