Port de Pollença: Fiestas de la "Verge del Carme"
From July 6 to 15 the "Festes de la Verge del Carme" will be celebrated in Port de Pollença, organised by the Neighbours' Association "Eu Moll" with the support from different local and private institutions.
The programme for the fiestas this year includes a wide range of ludic, cultural and sports activities for every day, and also the traditional religious ceremonies in tribute to the Patron of the Port. Worth mentioning is the performance by The Voicing Quartet Gospel, on Friday evening, July 6 in the Moll Parrish, after the proclamation by Josep M. Rotger i Cerdà; the dinner of popular Mallorcan products with music by the groups Musica Nostra and Mare Nostrum, on Tuesday 10 as from 9 p.m.; the concert by Los Secretos and Antonio Vega, on Saturday July 14, as from 10.30 p.m.
On Sunday, July 15, after the 6.30 p.m. mass, the traditional maritime procession with the statues of Our Lady of Carmel and Saint Peter, will take place.
