Have any bars or restaurants opened in PP under the relaxation of measures. Hopefully some will think a little income is better than nothing? :)

It's only the first day so please bear with me, a few have opened today and more are planning to open during this week. Also a few bars have opened and seem to be very busy, unfortunately i am unable to go and see for myself as i have a problem with my foot and can't get about, just my luck :(.

Oh no! How unlucky. Hope it improves quickly :)

Sorry to hear you are struggling Sparky and hope you can get out and about soon :( Obviously there is no rush as we will not be visiting for a while!! But hoping there is some light at the end of the tunnel for those who have been struggling for so long :)

Gran Café 1919 opening now!

I heard Casa Manolo and Ambrosia already opened. Stay and a few others possibly opening today too. Also Trencadora in Pollensa.

Ca les Monges was open as was la bodeguita.

Sounds like gout to me. Have plenty of fluids.

1. Moll de Bellagio is opening the rear patio from Wednesday and will be open for both lunch and evening service.

2. Can Ferra is now open (terraces) and hope to offer their normal evening menu. They are also opening for drinks and snacks during day.

3. Pascalinos (always open!)

4. The new tapas bar in the church square (whose name escapes me) was open and full yesterday lunchtime.

Yes, it's really painful and swollen, ice packs and pain killers are helping :).

I hope it gets better. Watch what food you eat, I cannot eat strawberries or asparagus. Found out by trial and error. Been on daily Allopurinol tablet for some years and it works.
Keep well

I’ve suffered with gout, Lyn, two separate attacks, and once diagnosed have taken Allopurinol every day with no further problems. My word it’s a painful thing and I do hope you recover quickly. If you do, it probably isn’t gout. How sad that this appeared just as you got some freedom. Jane and I send our best wishes.

So sad not to be coming out in two weeks time. Have moved our 'deposit' to last 2 weeks September, but...?
Lyn, if it is gout, take plenty of fluids (ideally water!!) and go for white meat rather than red. Also, cherries help. Had a bad bout over Christmas that lasted far longer than any previous one. Doc mentioned Allopurinol to me but I decided on a concerted effort to up my water intake - 5 pints a day and change eating habits - so far so good! Stay safe you two, and thanks again for all the hard work you do to keep us lot informed!

Thank you all for your kind messages, the pain is easing and the ice packs are helping to get the swelling down :).

To be honest i am not too bothered about not going out, after 8 weeks lockdown a few more days won't matter. Also i think by the weekend things will have quietened down here and places won't be so busy, so maybe it's for the best ;).

This May already off. Booked for September, fingers crossed. Have not put my budgie smugglers back in the loft yet!
Looking forward we have booked for May and September 2021.
All keep well

So after 61 days and still limping i finally made it to my favourite bar last night :D. It was their first day so they were on a learning curve but it all went smoothly, drinking inside is not allowed and only 50% of the outside area is open. Oh! it was so good to see familiar faces and be able to chat, everyone was following the rules and were happy to be able to get out for a couple of hours ;).
