I assume that like everywhere else cost of living in PP will have increased and I would love to get some idea of prices when we visit in June . Should I expect 10% increase in eating out as opposed to last year or somewhere in that ballpark ?

Thanks

I think that your estimate of a 10% increase is about right but quite a few variations. For example Celler La Parra has held prices to last year's level and Stay 's menu of the day is the same.

Where we have found larger increases is food shopping especially dairy products and meat. We have found it worthwhile to do a huge shop at Lidl.

But prices have gone up everywhere and I don't feel that excessive exploitation is happening here.

Thanks

Thank you . I expected as much but good to know and surprising, that some places are managing to keep prices same a last year.

We are staying in an apartment and your idea of a bulk shopping trip one to definitely do this time round. We usually end up just going to the nearest supermarket no matter what the prices are.

Arrived yesterday and my word, the prices in the supermarkets have certainly increased 10% to 20%, especially the Spar shops.
Went to the Eroski today on Joan 23rd for a big shop and despite being higher than last year, the prices were cheaper than Spar.
Gin is blimmim expensive which is a concern!!
