We have an evening flight back in October so we are looking for a restaurant to stop off at for lunch on the way back from Pollenca to Palma.

One idea is to stop off at "the Lamb Restaurant" called Es Verger at Alaro.

We went there for lunch in July during the holiday and enjoyed the rustic charm and succulent lamb.

Does anyone have any alternative recommendation for a restaurant on the way down.

Our preference is for Mallorcan/Spanish cuisine.

Restaurant on The Way Back To The Airport

Es Verger is a bit off the track to the airport!

If you are looking for somewhere with good Mallorquin food, why not try:

Sa Sini
Plaza Hostals 20
Santa Maria.
Tel: 971 620252.

If you go into Santa Maria from the Puerto Pollensa direction, in the middle of the town is a right turn. If you take this turn, Sa Sini is on the right.

Easy to reach off the motorway. Easy to get back on the motorway. Good food. Great value for money.

I hope this helps.

San Miguel.

Thanks San Miguel, :)

We called in at Santa Maria once on the way back to visit the vineyard and as you say it is close to the motorway .

Is there any way I can get some more information on Sa Sini - Don't suppose they have a website ?

Regards,

Keith

Hi San Miguel,

Tried Celler Sa Sini in Santa Maria on the way back to the airport on Saturday afternoon.

Mallorquian food was available but also there were other choices and the food was good and reasonably priced.

They were very busy - full of locals - usually a good sign.

Thanks for the recommend. :)

Keith

Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
It's a great place for a meal on a winter evening on the way back from Palma.

Cheers!

San Miguel.
