HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH REMOVALS BY VAN FROM UK TO PUERTO POLLENSA?
THERE APPEAR TO BE A NUMBER AF FIRMS THAT ADVERTISE A REGULAR SERVICE BUT BEFORE USING ANY I WOULD TO HEAR OF ANY PROBLEMS THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED.

Removals

We have used Webbs (Bill Webb) twice .... absolutely brilliant .... we insured our contents both times (seemed sensible) but no need as nothing was broken, scratched or damaged. Collected and delivered exactly when we wanted and that included a 130kg american fridge / freezer to a first floor apartment.

As I recall our 2003 prices were £110 per cube collected from the Midlands and £130 from the North. One cubic metre is quite a lot of space and this was his minimum pick-up. Both times we sent around 7 cube (enough for all the furniture in a 2 bed apartment). The price - £770 (7 cube x £110) was subject to VAT and insurance which is obviously based upon the value of your goods. Even in respect of Ikea stuff we found it cheaper to buy in UK and pay for the transport than buying in Palma.
